A landing page is a single webpage which should explain and advertise my bank.

Landing Page

When going onto designing my landing page it is important I consider a hierarchy, and establish what information is the most important and should appear at the top of the page. Is it text led or image led? Will it include a hero image? What is the hierarchy? These are all questions I must in my design process.

Domain Names

I compiled a list of potential domain names which would be suitable for my landing page and checked them online to see if they were in use. Unfortunately, my first choice and best fit, β€œJust.co.uk” was already taken. If I were to buy a domain name for this site, I would go with β€œJust-Bank.co.uk” which is available.

One Page Love

Pictured below is a partial screenshot of a page I found on the financial section of One Page Love. This site is called bodewise. I admire how this site is laid out. It is consistent in its design choices. The all large, uppercase headings are eye catching, and confined to the left had of the page. The grey tones look professional and sleek, working well with the black sans serif type and the grey imagery focused alongside the text. This is well fit for purpose as, traditionally, financial brands aim to inspire feelings of trust and stability.
